Beth Andress is a digital self-defence educator, violence prevention specialist, and fraud awareness professional dedicated to helping individuals and organizations recognize manipulation before it leads to harm. As co-founder of Street Safe Self Defense and founder of the Digital Self-Defense Academy, she delivers practical, evidence-based training that bridges the gap between personal safety, fraud prevention, and digital resilience. Drawing on her background in law enforcement and years of experience teaching violence prevention, Beth holds certifications in Fraud Foundations through ACAMS, Fraud Education through the Canadian Financial Crime Academy (CFCA), Human Trafficking Awareness, De-escalation, and Situational Awareness. Her work focuses on equipping people with the knowledge and critical thinking skills needed to identify deception, reduce vulnerability, and make confident, informed decisions in an increasingly complex world.
